A second option is vertical sun protection, fixed or movable aluminium blades which are vertically attached in front of the windows with a vertical supporting structure on the wall.

Horizontal structural sun protection offers the ideal solution for managing the heat build-up from solar radiation, without obstructing your clear view, especially above windows in south-facing façades. During the summer, when the sun is high, they offer the ideal protection against overheating. During the winter, when the sun is low, they allow the heat into the building. In addition, this structural sun protection is very maintenance friendly.

Vertical sun protection screens offer the solution where, in addition to overheating during the summer, blinding light should also be avoided throughout the whole year. You can opt for a fixed construction in places where transparency is of secondary importance. The degree of unobstructed view is determined by the type of product you use.
Portable construction
In many situations, the combination of requirements in terms of desired sun protection fabrics, light, and transparency does not permit the choice of a fixed sun protection structure. In these cases, multiple portable systems are possible, such as a sun protection with swivelling blades. Such sun protection is fully lockable and ensures that the windows are completely shielded from the sun when it is low in the sky.
